Out of School Time Programs
We proudly provide a safe, fun, and affordable place for kids (ages 5 to 12) to go during after school and out-of-school time to connect with peers and caring, trained professionals. We offer a number of programs and activities.
To meet kids where they are and help them grow, we focus on four key outcome areas: academic success, health & wellbeing, character & leadership, and life & workforce readiness.
Out of School Time Program Details
- After School Hours: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Out of School Time: Full Days when Springfield schools are closed
- After School/Out of School Time programs are for ages 5 to 12 years old
- Daily transportation from school to the center is provided
- Some of the programs we offer for this age range:
- Bridge Program (Age 5): homework help, literacy/math, life skills, games, recreation
- Power Hour (Ages 6-12): academic support through fun activities
- Torch Club (Ages 11-12): leadership development and community service
- Dance Program: community performances and family showcases
- Creative Activities: art, cooking, sports, gym time
- Social-Emotional Learning: Support from Tribe Institute & AmeriCorps
